This was fun. I got my invite a few days back to test out "Project Stream" so I get to play Assassin's Creed: Odyssey for free until January 2019. Pretty awesome there, Google. All you need is a PC that can run Chrome and a connection that is good enough to handle that type of a stream. I still have to upgrade my modem at home to handle it better but even on my really old modem without as much throughput it handled it really well. It only seems to dip a bit when other devices on my network are doing things
Here's some of the videos of my game-play:
As you can see, this game is a blast. I'm not all that far into it yet and am earning more abilities but I'll share more as I check this out.
This is a great message. Please take the time to listen in and see what God thinks of your pride. At the link above is the audio with a searchable transcript
So it looks like this is finally happening... If you don't mind modding your Switch that is. Still crazy that people are pulling of what Bethesda won't (at least at this point)
I can't imagine just how much this could expand the game & all while on the go even. Here's to hoping the next Elder Scrolls game makes it to Switch with official mod support right from the start
Click the link above if you'd want the "Now On Tap" features back (copying text from any screen, etc.). Here's what I said about this 5 days ago on G+:
Oh man, this one is huge for me. I always loved the feature that "Now On Tap" had where you can copy text from any screen. This brings it back. You have to have Tasker & Autoshare to take advantage of this. You will notice it save a screenshot but each time you do it'll overwrite the last one
Check the Pixel fine print for "unlimited" storage for Google Photos
Looks like Google's backtracking that unlimited original storage for life that they were giving with the original Pixel phones. They must have realized how much people are uploading via their Pixel phones and decided to roll back that perk. The more you look into Google the more you see lately how you get short changed
Just making my first post here on Blogger. I'm going to move over here from G+ as I'm pretty much over social media. I'm sure I'll do more posts once G+ is finally dead. I mostly post about God, family, tech, and games. Hopefully whoever finds this blog is benefited in some way by what I end up sharing on here. Above is my wife and I form a pic we took a few days back on our 7th anniversary. More to come...
